How to use this app
A quick walkthrough of everything you can do — booking a seat, seeing exactly where the bus is, and letting the conductor know you're waiting.
🎟️ Booking a seat
1On the home screen, tap "Book online".
2Choose your trip (date and direction).
3Pick where you're boarding and where you're getting off — the fare appears automatically.
4Enter how many seats you need.
5Enter your name and phone number (any special request, like extra luggage, can go in the notes box).
6Review everything and tap "Confirm booking". You'll get a reservation code — save it or take a screenshot.
Booking is completely free — you only pay when you board the bus.
We'll call to confirm your booking, so make sure your number is correct.
To check or cancel a booking later, tap "Your bookings" on the home screen and enter your reservation code and phone number.
📍 Checking the live bus location
1On the home screen, tap "Live bus location".
2You'll see which direction the bus is running, a small scrolling list of every stop on the route, and a live map with the bus's exact position.
3Below the map, a progress bar and estimated arrival time show roughly how far along the route the bus is.
4This all updates automatically — no need to refresh the page.
If the conductor hasn't started today's trip yet, or has already ended it, you'll see a message instead of the map, telling you when the next trip departs and in which direction.
🔔 Notifying the conductor you're waiting
1On the Live Tracking screen, tap "I'm waiting at a stop — notify the bus".
2Enter your name, your phone number, and where you're going — all three are required.
3Tap "Notify bus". The conductor now sees your name, phone number, and destination, and knows to look out for you.
This works best if location access is allowed when your browser asks — it helps the conductor see roughly where you are.
💬 Sharing your location & messaging the conductor
1After you notify the bus, a chat box and a "Share your live location" option appear on the same screen.
2To share your live location, tap 15 min, 30 min, or 1 hour — however long you think you'll be waiting.
3To message the conductor directly — for example, to describe where exactly you're standing — type in the chat box and tap "Send".
4You can stop sharing your location at any time with the "Stop sharing" button.
📲 Adding this to your home screen
1On Android, a banner offering to install Sirikatha Travels usually appears automatically the first time you visit — just tap "Install".
2On iPhone, tap the Share button in Safari, then choose "Add to Home Screen".
3It then opens like a regular app — full screen, no address bar — right from your home screen.
